PROJECT: Kitchen Remodel

This customer found us through a friend. She called us in 2009 and said "I want to remodel my kitchen. What do I do first?" We gave her some information about saving money by doing the purchasing herself. We provided some guidance and the labor to complete most of the job, although she needed to hire other contractors too.

This customer found our name at ModernPhoenix.net. He designed the kitchen himself and purchased the cabinetry at IKEA. He hired a few other contractors to work on the hardwood floor, counters, electrical system and stucco. We focused on the cabinetry and in the end his design came together to make an amazing kitchen and a creative use of space.

This customer needed a unique fence to compliment their unique home.
PROJECT: Window Moulding

This customer installed new windows that left the inside of the house needing some work. We installed real wood jams and casing to give their new windows a clean, finished look. They tackled the painting themselves.
PROJECT: Creative Conversion

One of our long-time Phoenix clients had a workshop that he built with his father 15 years ago. He doesn't have much time to "tinker" anymore. What he really needed was a private office to get his work done. Advanced Handyman Services along with other contractors transformed his shop into an office.

The proud owner of a Haver designed home chose a patio cover from an old book of Modern homes. He asked us to replicate the design for his house. He chose white polycarbonate panels to filter the western sun.

A Phoenix woman wanted her kitchen to feel more "open". She had us remove part of a wall to create the effect she was looking for.

This detail is from the Atkinson's shower in Phoenix. Mrs. Atkinson picked out all of the tile and fixtures herself.

PROJECT: Tile Repair
This tile floor was completed years ago by another contractor. A crack in the slab caused tiles to separate from the floor.

PROJECT: Shower Stall
The old shower was installed by a "repair person" three years ago. Due to the moisture damage to all the adjacent walls Advanced Handyman Services determined that it was not properly installed. Sure enough, when we removed the shower there was no waterproof membrane in the shower pan.
PROJECT: Pullout Drawers Make Access Easy
LOCATION: Phoenix
Sometimes we don't even know half of what's in our kitchen cabinets. It's such a pain to dig all the way to the back of the cabinet for that Tupperware lid or frying pan. Advanced Handyman Services installs high quality pull-out drawers in your existing cabinets. They can be an asset in the kitchen, bathroom or garage.

PROJECT: Fraternity House Room Transformation
LOCATION: ASU Main Campus, Tempe
This room was deemed the worst room in the house by all of the members of the fraternity. We had one week to transform the room including a complete tear-out, new flooring, new built-in beds, closet, organizers, flat screen TV, drywall, paint, and lighting.

After some harsh rain and wind the shingles blew right off of this Tempe house. The owner called and didn't want to spend an arm and a leg. She asked us to replace just the missing and damaged shingles. We were able to find a close color match and get the job done before the next rain.

This is the Master Control Center for Cox Media. We carefully navigated the maze of wires, computers, and wall-mounted televisions to get this job done. We painted this room as well as eight offices in the middle of the night so as not to interfere with business.

PROJECT: Gutters and Downspouts
Advanced Handyman Services can modify your existing gutters and downspouts or install new ones. The original design of this house resulted in minor flooding in the living room during heavy rains. We added this downspout to rectify the situation. After the next heavy rain we called to check up and the customer reported that her problem was solved.
